Etymology and Purpose
The term “overwatch” is defined in various U.S. Army Field Manuals as a “traveling technique that provides additional security when speed is desirable but enemy contact is possible. The lead element moves continuously. The trailing element moves at various speeds and may halt periodically to overwatch the lead element's movement.” Corporate Overwatch is a “trailing element,” allowing you and your organization -- the “lead element” -- to “move continuously” to create new opportunities, grow the company, and serve existing clients.
